Edit: Hm, maybe I should clear my cache and try again? im not sure, the last thing i remember was clicking on the spy, clicking a topic in it, and the next thing i know im looking at what i thought was the spy page again, but then i realized that i was looking at the mini spy... GreatStalin
If you use ABP, you won't be able to see it. That's odd. Not using that on Neowin. Will have to check back in a few mins to see if it's here! Upto 4 stars now. :)
-KJ
I gave it 5 stars :p

GreatStalin
Yay, it's back and it's better than ever! It became a bit bothersome after the amount of times I had to click Start/Stop every time it would freeze/have a li'l' problem.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted February 10, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 10, 2010 How can I disable it? It's even on the forum views which is just annoying as hell.

bangbang023 Veteran Posted February 10, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 10, 2010 I'm running Chrome. Is the Chrome equivalent capable of the same thing? I hate loading up BPN to have the content almost below the fold on my 1440*900 screen because of a mini spy that I never even use. And I would prefer not to block the ads on Neowin, btw. I've worked here. I know how important they are.
SimplySchizo
Minimizing it not good enough? Probably reopens on load though...
Chasethebase Reporter Posted February 10, 2010 Reporter Share Posted February 10, 2010 Just hit the little arrow at the top right of it. On another note it's great to have it back, I used it as my primary method of navigation before the upgrade so I'm pleased it's back. EDIT: Server's getting pwnd again by it. :(
bangbang023 Veteran Posted February 10, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 10, 2010 The "hide" arrow doesn't work in the forum views, only on the main index.
SimplySchizo
Server seems to be taking a beating again though...
Pc_Madness
On a side note, can we change how the hide arrows work? Atm all the hiding is in JavaScript, so the page loads and then it hides the forums I don't want. :\ Abit annoying watching the page jump around while I'm trying to scroll. Rudy
The "hide" arrow doesn't work in the forum views, only on the main index. Works for me in FF3.6 oh and btw my suggestion to use ABP was merely a joke... but it would do what you want (while taking away from neowin's ad revenue :()
bangbang023 Veteran Posted February 10, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 10, 2010 Works for me in FF3.6 On the main forum index, it works for me. But in Chrome and IE8, it doesn't work when loading the forum views, such as the Back Page News index.
