hello mini spy :)

The "hide" arrow doesn't work in the forum views, only on the main index.

Seems to be working for me in Firefox. Also stays closed as I move between threads.

Glad to see it back.

Seems to have calmed down now after the initial switch on. But I'm getting multiple topics show up in it.

On the main forum index, it works for me. But in Chrome and IE8, it doesn't work when loading the forum views, such as the Back Page News index.

I concur.

On Firefox atm.

Guidelines wont minimize eitherl

Works for me in FF3.6

oh and btw my suggestion to use ABP was merely a joke... but it would do what you want (while taking away from neowin's ad revenue :()

It's possible to not block ads and still have the mini spy not to even show up. Stylish is such a wonderful tool.

I'm running Chrome. Is the Chrome equivalent capable of the same thing? I hate loading up BPN to have the content almost below the fold on my 1440*900 screen because of a mini spy that I never even use.

And I would prefer not to block the ads on Neowin, btw. I've worked here. I know how important they are.

I sort of have to agree. On my PC, there is no problem at all. However, on my 1280x800 laptop, opening up a thread results in me seeing the Neowin banner, ad, then minispy. I love the minispy to death, however, so much space is being taken up. I guess I'll deal. :(

Yo, why you removing it for Subs too? It was enabled for us as a subscription perk /cries

It wasn't a perk, it was just testing out the load with a smaller group of users before launching it forever everyone.

On a sidenote - why is Redmak in the "Registered" group now instead of Administrators? Weird!

He's back in the Admin group again. Strange or what?

That feature is a spy!

He's probably just testing out the site as a regular user (though using a dummy account would probably be easier...)
