SadisticNerd
Hey guys and gals, I need some help. I am trying to find some software that I can radio broadcast to a server. It would need to be able to support m4a (as all my music is in iTunes). Anyone doing this currently? Anyone have some recommendations on this? Thanks again! Are you using an IceCast server or what server are you broadcasting to? A buddy of mine wrote an app that takes audio from the line in and broadcasts it to a server but i'm pretty sure he can modify it to get it to load some files and just stream them. SadisticNerd
I am looking for a more commercial app I believe. I want to be able to use my MAC and use my massive iTunes library wiht SubSpace-Radio.net (yeah Startrek nerd i know). I am using my PC right now, however I have to convert everything over to MP3. It is becoming such a PITA to do this all the time. I currently Use Sam4 Broadcaster on WIndows 7, with no issues. Would just love to be able to use my Mac in OSX. PNWDweller
Try nicecast from Rogue Amoeba. http://rogueamoeba.com/nicecast/ It lets you broadcast to the outside world assuming that your site you want to broadcast to allows you to link to your computer for the m3u playlist. :)
