aussiefloyd_fan
I need help getting this set up. I have a dell mini 9 with a 8GB ssd and want to load up x86 leopard on it. I bought the <snip> version and cant get the darned thing working. I have a external 500GB WESTERN digital hdd and a 8GB flash drive a 2GB flash drive. My computer supports booting from the flash drive as i tried out chromium hexxehs copy. I do not have a external dvd drive so i need to try to get this going. Without having to use a mac to set it all up. Please help if you can I dont need any of the printer drivers as i wont be printing from this mini and was wondering how bad the battery life would suffer from using x86
Shadrack
I need help getting this set up. I have a dell mini 9 with a 8GB ssd and want to load up x86 leopard on it. I bought the kalyway version and cant get the darned thing working. You might want to ask to get your money back, since Kalyway is not an authorized re-seller of Mac OS X. Although hackintosh can be discussed on this forum, I think its better if you leave how you obtained the software up to everyones imagination. I had to do this when my Mac Mini's internal DVD drive was busted. I'm not sure how-to get the disk image onto the external drive using another OS (but I'm sure it is possible). The InsanlyMac forums will probably be more helpful than this forum for a hakintosh setup.

+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted February 16, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted February 16, 2010 An 8GB SSD would be really pushing it. I think it's a lot more complicated to get it to work with a drive that small.

Shaun N.
You are not allowed to mention certain brands of hackware, as the first two posts have done, I received a warning for doing that last year. giga will be on your backs

Instead of buying one for a one-time thing (Which would be a silly waste) borrow one from a friend?
