0 Joel
A) This has nothing to do with the Web Server forum that it's presently in, and B) There is already a Windows Server Technologies forum. https://www.neowin.net/forum/forum/77-windows-server-technologies/
0 The_Observer
I think it should!

0 Singh400
Depends on the amount of interest and demand, I personally would love to see it. But I'm bias, because I love my WHS box
0 +BudMan MVC Posted February 17, 2010 MVC Share Posted February 17, 2010 And how does not fall under the current windows server forum? "Request help & support for Windows Server Technology related issues." Would seem that is where WHS question would go.

0 +BudMan MVC Posted February 17, 2010 MVC Share Posted February 17, 2010 The forum states "server technology" doesn't state enterprise or work related server technologies ;) The product has server in the name and is windows based -- kind of self evident that would be the best place for questions about WHS if you ask me. I have not seen enough WHS questions anywhere here on neowin that would justify its own section imho.
0 still1
i would could Home Server more a Home product, while Windows Server Technology more of a company thing.... and how exactly does Home server goes to Web server technology? Home server is media and web server is web technologies. WHS will fit in as a subforum in "Windows Server Technologies"
0 Joel
It is not a web server in the sense that this forum means, and WHS is based on Server 2003. Hell, it IS Server 2003 with a few added services. When it visits Windows Update, it's the updates for 2003 it pulls down. The little web interface you see is just the pretty front for the normal dumbass. WHS will fit in as a subforum in "Windows Server Technologies" Why? There are no separate subforums for 2003 and 2008.
