And how does not fall under the current windows server forum?

"Request help & support for Windows Server Technology related issues."

Would seem that is where WHS question would go.

The forum states "server technology" doesn't state enterprise or work related server technologies ;) The product has server in the name and is windows based -- kind of self evident that would be the best place for questions about WHS if you ask me.

I have not seen enough WHS questions anywhere here on neowin that would justify its own section imho.

and how exactly does Home server goes to Web server technology?

Home server is media and web server is web technologies.

WHS will fit in as a subforum in "Windows Server Technologies"

It is not a web server in the sense that this forum means, and WHS is based on Server 2003. Hell, it IS Server 2003 with a few added services. When it visits Windows Update, it's the updates for 2003 it pulls down. The little web interface you see is just the pretty front for the normal dumbass.

Why? There are no separate subforums for 2003 and 2008.
