Inkscape SVG halp!

Question

So I made this banner in Inkscape and it opens fine and stuff, but I'm unable to export it as anything other than SVG or import the SVG into any other program because it just takes up too much resources for some reason, during the export/import process. I'm guessing that it's because of all the little circles with blurs causing the trouble, but I can't tell for sure.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I could convert the file format into EPS or something? Is there any way of "flattening" the vector so all the useless stuff gets discarded? Thanks!

Any filters would get rasterised when you export (and depending on the file format, everything behind them)

What output setting are you using? Cairo PDF would probably have the best output quality.

I've tried selecting different file types in Inkscape's save-as dialogue, there are not many settings to choose from, but whatever I do select, it just gives me an error warning and crashes Inkscape. I could only save it as SVG. It's a 192x30 inch banner so the size may be contributing to the problem.

I've also tried opening the SVG in Illustrator, but it just keeps running the processor for an extended period of time with no apparent results, I've eventually killed the process. It has a dialogue that indicated it was working on the filters, with the progress bar not moving much.

edit: I think size is the issue, if i shrink the image down by a factor of 100 it exports to other formats fine, however the shrunk SVG doesn't open properly in AI. It's really weird though, the original sized file opens in a snap in Inkscape, but brings AI to a craw for some reason. Is there any way of bringing the resource requirements down?

Thanks!
