LOC Veteran Posted February 21, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 21, 2010 GoldenEye Source has finally moved to the Orange Box version of the Source engine and Beta 4 has been released (a few days ago now actually, sorry been busy playing it and stuff lol). Along with like, 8 new maps and tons of changes etc, the mod now has achievements (I think they were in Beta 3 though actually) but note these are not Steamworks enabled, so they probably are NOT listed on your community page etc. Regardless, amazing mod. This new version blew me away and really really feels like the N64 game (and sounds like it, obviously it looks way better heh). Here is the change list (I hope it pastes in ok): NoteThis is a very high level list of changes. There has been uncountable numbers of optimizations, changes, tweaks, and additions to Beta 4 since Beta 3.1.4. This list is by no means complete and captures the major changes that will be seen by the average player. Server * Added: Replaced LUA with Python for Gameplay Scenarios * Added: Achievement progress report.
