New Batch of Medal of Honor screenshots

Looks good. I'm guessing it runs on Unreal Engine 3 since that's the SP engine. The engine used for MP is Frostbite (yes, the same Frostbite from DICE).

Aw, what's up with the outdated camouflage?

I wouldn't say it's outdated, just more in line with today's military. Also, modern does not equal digital camouflage.

That blatantly isn't gameplay :/ I wonder what EA will do to ruin it this time.

Care to elaborate more? I've found Airborne gameplay quite good, If I recall correctly it's the only game where you can duck and peek behind cover correctly, you can't do that even in MW.

You can see the dithering on the shadows, while it might not be "gameplay", it's definitely from the engine, maybe touched up a little.

Most look like screen grabs from the trailer. :(

I had no idea there was a trailer, so i looked it up, and it matches these pictures.

I love great graphics, but some games are more about the gameplay. The original MOH still has a great community out there and to me is still the most fun I've ever had playing a FPS. Gameplay first, graphics second.

Well, Airborne was terrible. That feature was really clunky and the controls didn't work at all well in general. But I wasn't really talking exclusively about the MoH games. EA just seems to have a habit of hyping up a game on a very long-running and often-thought-to-be-dead series (see NFS) and then coming up with something that totally ruins it, or in the end finishes with a crap game that probably could have done with 6 months more development.

It isn't gameplay then :p They did something similar with the BFBC trailers iirc.

Dude, you do know they do this for almost every game out there when they are releasing screenshots and trailers; doing cinematic views etc.

Of course it isn't. It's a first-person shooter and the screenshots are shown in 3rd-person view. What they probably did though is take the original screenshot at an insanely high resolution with AA applied and down-sampled it. That explains why the screenshots look like they have 1337x AA/2674x AF applied. Come to think of it, EA does it with a lot of games. A good example is Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
