Rohdekill
just by reading the right panel you can tell it was written by someone with poor vocabulary skills. How someone could see that and not think a five year old wrote it is beyond me.
Digital Tonic
People who give out their personal information or account information on such sites truly deserve to have their accounts stolen not to be returned. Really? Some people may not be as good at spotting phishing sites and may not have a lot of experience with the Internet. So that deserves them to loose their account information? Simply because they wern't able to spot a phishing website you could. No offence but I sincerly hope one day you eat your own words. Thanks AJC. AJC.
Chrome detects it as a phishing website now :) Yep that would be my handy work ;)
sweetsam
I don't trust any links in emails. Especially when it asks you to login using a link they sent you... your alarm meter should go through the roof right away. If you have to login get to the site by typing the url yourself always ! Ofcourse make sure you are typing the correct url and not the one that came in the email and please no copy paste either.
hackdoom
I'm usually very careful when online, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded once in a while. +1 Vote to my fellow Canuck! :D
Xtreme2damax
I've never fell for Phishing scams, I either verify it is a legit email from the actual legit company or I visit the website directly. My Steam account has been fine for the 5+ years I've had it now, I intend on keeping it that way. ;)
Ryoken
I agree with Cupcakes.. Reporting to Google and the like is the best first step, followed by reporting it to Steam, and posting on their forums, and contacting the host.. All that being said anyone that logged into any site without making sure they know the URL is correct get's what's coming, When I get stuff like this from Steam or eBay the first thing I do is manually go to their sites, and find the page they are trying to direct me to.
