newbie2k2
OK I have 3 computers connected to a hub, they're all registered on the same workgroup and show up in network neighbourhood etc... ICS works fine...the problem is that quite regularly when trying to browse files on a pc on the network, regardless of which one I use, sometimes the 'window' will crash....and when I press inside it, the title bar says (NOT RESPONDING) etc... Is this a common problem?? Also is there any remote control software (such as winVNC) which is generally regarded as 'the best'?? I use winVNC but am wondering if there is any better software out there that I could use.... Finally, does anybody know any sites etc.. offering help on configuring and optimising a windows network setup cauz I'm sure mine is just badly configured or something....its bitchy with me at times (see above) thanks for reading! :)
