Apparently GTTV is revealing a new Sony game very soon.

@geoffkeighley cant believe how amazing God of War 3 looks. Sony's first party developers really seem like they're on another level!

@mattyd128 Wait until you see what they are doing next....very soon on GTTV!

So another new 1st party title coming up, Starhawk or Twisted Metal 3?

Whichever one it is...the other will probably be at E3!

I'm actually thinking neither and it will be the first showing of Killzone 3.

Save the other two IPs for E3 as they're going to be first time comers to PS3, KZ3 is a sequel to a game already established on PS3, KZ2.

The comparison and "wait til you see" commentary points to something epic - So I doubt very much Starhawk. Jaffe has given up nothing about Twisted Metal recently, even hinting at anything, so I'm not real sure about that.

And it being GTTV exclusive, I would almost think a PSN title, but I think it'll be something way off the radar, no game announcement, some sort of software, peripheral, or something to that effect. OR a 1st-party PSP title. OR, an announcement for an already known title, like GT5.

Don't get hopes up for a giant PS3 reveal.

GT5 or KZ3 are my bets. Syphon Filter is doing the rounds again as well.

Geoff has already started the hype engine by laughing off someone's comment on the GAF about this being another **** poor announcement (he still gets haunted for his tweet which ended up being MW2 being shown off :p).

Audio: I think that they would save Syphon Filter for E3 so they can generate awesome buzz with a wide array of new games (Twisted Metal, etc.). My bet's is going for Killzone 3 with a small trailer, with an epic trailer for E3 to create even more buzz like at the E3 where the first revealed it.

Resistance 3. Confirmed.

Already been confirmed when billboards were spotted that had been put up for a film release due this year :p

Maybe Killzone 3 or Resistance 3

A surprise Sony sequel?

Doubt either of them.

We knew about KZ3 and R3 ages ago, and neither are a surprise  We also know inFAMOUS 2 is in the works.

I'm thinking Twisted Metal 3, or some other sequel to a PS1/PS2 franchise.

David Jaffe did say he would be announcing his game early this year/around GDC (GDC is 9 days away).

Syphon Filter is a franchise that's reared it's head under a few rumours this generation, I'll stick my head out on a limb and genuinely go for a surprise meaning something not expected.

Twisted Metal 3, Syphon Filter, new fully fledged Wipeout game, Loco Roco PS3, Starhawk or Sly Cooper 4. Maybe Motorstorm 3, but again we know it's in development.

Sony Bend, developers of Syphon Filter haven't released ANYTHING on the PS3 yet. All PSP so far.

Either way, it'll probably be underwhelming.

pfft, it's so awesome, they need a news abotu the news becoming news... :p

Seems sony likes to to this a lot, pre-hype the news release saying there's going to be news, they also seem to be almost the only ones doing it, certainly to the degree they though. and the last few times, it seems the news that there will be news, have been more exiting than the actual news release itself, so I wouldn't hold my breath. but sure, yeah, it could be something amazing.

It's GTTV not Sony...

If you don't appreciate the news posts don't read/reply to them.

And who do you think tells the Media / GTTV ...

Sony is involved at some stage in this hype process.

Your point being?

Just because I posted about an announcement for a new game on Thursday doesn't mean the topic needs ruined by people not interested.

Microsoft Xbox 360 game on Thursday: Wonder what it could be? Guesses at sequels/people posting that are genuinely interested.

Sony PS3 game on Thursday: Underwhelming/I don't even own a PS3 but I'll come into moan anyway/OMG AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NEW GAME COMING? WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST KEEP IT UNDER WRAPS UNTIL THURSDAY? I CAN'T STAND HEARING ABOUT UPCOMING ANNOUNCEMENTS DAYS BEFORE, COMPANIES AREN'T ALLOWED TO MARKET. Or just a spiral of unnecessary arguments, like this one.

That sounds about right, and FYI just speaking my opinion ;)
