+BeLGaRaTh Subscriber¹ Posted March 2, 2010 Subscriber¹ Share Posted March 2, 2010 As per topic, I am getting an error constantly on PSN showing 80023102. I did a bit of Binging (I prefer it over that other search site :)) and found that it could be either problems with adding a credit card (I have tried to enter credit card details previously but kept getting an error that my details were invalid, even after entering them 5 or 6 times.) or the PSN is down. As I have ruled out the first due to not being able to add a card anyway, is anyone able to confirm if the PSN is up and working for them or if they are receiving the same error code. FYI I am entering the PSN, then choosing Latest at the top, Fifa 10 appears in the big square to the left, and the other squares to the right are just blue with rotating arrows in the top left one. After 30 seconds or so the error code appears. I only bought the PS3 on Saturday and already am regretting it. The PSN is dire, there is no logic to anything, you cannot just browse for the latest Demo's say, or the latest game trailers etc, they are all just lumped into one big mess. At least on the 360 there are different categories etc in order to make finding the latest stuff easier. I believe the US/JP regions are done like that in the PSN so why not the UK/EU? Setting my HDMI to 1080p it seems to disregard that and use its own resolutions when it feels like, 1080p for example and 576p at times. Why cant it again be like the 360 and display everything in 1080p if thats what I set my preferences as?

x9248
I have both a US and EU account, and you're right. I found the EU PSN a pain to navigate through. I was trying to find the free dynamic themes that was only offered in EU and I eventually just had to use the search function after my browsing for it failed. As for the resolution, I think if you untick the ones in the options that you don't want it won't auto change to them. If you only leave 1080p ticked then that's all it would use, but I recommend at least leaving 720p ticked as well since most games are natively 720p. As for the error, no idea :p
