patseguin Global Moderator Posted June 25, 2003 Global Moderator Share Posted June 25, 2003 I installed Exchange Server 2003 beta on my server here at work. I really have no experience with Exchange so I don't know how to get it working. What I want it to do is connect to my business' email accounts at Earthlink web hosting and then deliver them to Outlook on the various PC's when employees check mail. I really wanted to do this so we could easily set up auto responders when we are out of the office. How do I set up Exchange to download email from a remote internet server? patseguin Global Moderator Posted June 27, 2003 Author Global Moderator Share Posted June 27, 2003 I'm surprised nobody has any input on this? Anyone have any experience with Exchange?
hoyablue
I do... First, you have to set up the Active Directory in Windows 2003 and configure all the active directory users for exchange. But all that comes after you configure your DNS etc. what stage are you in right now? have you already succesfully installed exchange?
patseguin Global Moderator Posted June 27, 2003 Author Global Moderator Share Posted June 27, 2003 Active Directory, DNS, etc. is all set up (Windows 2000 Server). We've had the network up for 2-1/2 years. I installed Exchange succesfully and am just trying to figure out how to configure it.
