c3ntury
I reccomend you upgrade to a 500Watt power supply at least for the new graphics cards. As for the card itself, go for a Geforce 9800 if you can.. i dont have much experience with ATi cards so i cant comment on that bit.

Your system seems to be pretty high-end (it's an i7), what model is it exactly? It will probably already have a power supply capable of using any card in the budget you specified. AJC.
ATI 4870 or 4890 I recently upgraded from a 3850 but the 4870 is the 4890 just stock overclocked. Just make sure you upgrade that power supply!

It will probably already have a power supply capable of using any card in the budget you specified. I agree the power supply inside might be enough. OP if you open the side of your case and tell us what wattage your power supply is as well as details on the rails (the sticker might not have this info so don't worry if it's not there.) it would be a big help. As for the graphics card I agree with 5770 or similar DX11 card.
I am Redbeard
I also need a new card or two. I have a 680i EVGA mobo and I had two nVidia 8800's SLi. One of my cards, after two and a half years, just died. Code 43 or something stupid. Looking for a compatible replacement.
