strelok1911
Hello. I'm trying to install OS X Snow Leo on my Asus P5QL-Pro. When I'm trying to boot the Snow Leo dvd I get stuck on this message: IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 64:87 Anyone knows how to solve this? Thanks. Shaun N.
Have you tried google first? What did you find?
strelok1911
Have you tried google first? What did you find? Of course I've tried. Asking questions on some forums comes the last call for me if I don't solve the problem. All I've found was the normal boot disc to boot the retail dvd. But it didn't worked. Still getting the error. I've heard mixed responsed about the BIOS. Some say I need to mod it (which I'll never do, the mobo is barely 4 months old since I bought it), some say the latest v1004 works. Shaun N.
I did a quick google and saw people suggesting flashing the bios, Turning off all unnecessary settings off in the Bios etc. Looks to be a long one for you

game_over
I've installed OSX using that exact motherboard and you DEFINITELY need to flash the bios. It's really easy and fairly safe.<div><br></div><div>I had no networking or sound but there are kexts to fix that, i never got wireless working.</div><div><br></div>
