TAZMINATOR
I played Need for Speed Shift. At the 7th lap, the vibration thing in the gamepad stopped vibrating. Not working afterwards. Think the vibration thing inside is broken? I checked the settings in game. It is enabled. Hmm? The controls on gamepad are working. But not the vibration. Sethos
The little rumble engine has probably taken a dump, test it out some more else call up Microsoft and see what they have to say.
Sikh
How old is your controller? They can only take so much. My friends 360 launch controller just gave out on him. After 4 years of non stop playing the controller JUST died. What it did was first the vibration motor went, came back and the joystick broke. It still moves and he can play, its just its not on its "hinges". So it rests right on the ball. Clicking is easier/weird but once it gets stuck its hard click. Also the motor shakes the whole controller now / joystick. So yeah these things are strong. But if it broke it broke, time for a new one.
Jeston Veteran Posted March 5, 2010 Veteran Share Posted March 5, 2010 Is it a wired or wireless controller? Mine sometimes does that when the battery is getting low.

I left it alone and let it rest. I will try again and see if it works again. Is it a wired or wireless controller? Mine sometimes does that when the battery is getting low. It is a wireless controller.. and the battery level is still good.
Ryuu Tora
If you don't get it to work, try changing the batteries. Sometimes the 360 shows good status for the batteries even if they are starting to get bad.
TAZMINATOR
It works now. Thanks everyone. Ryuu, it is not the batteries. It is the vibration thing which it had been vibrating so long in the game and went out on me. Just like what Sikh said.
