deletedxyz
If it's been a stressful week for you, then here's the cure. The Just Cause 2 demo is available now exclusively through Steam and lets players shoot, blow things up, and cause as much creative destruction as they please. The demo also supports all the advanced Nvidia graphics features for those who want to put their hardware to the test. Paul Ferson Veteran Posted March 6, 2010 Veteran Share Posted March 6, 2010 I played the demo on the Xbox 360. It's fun, but it's timed. You have 30 minutes, but you do get a considerable area to explore. The demo didn't really appeal to me though. I had the first Just Cause for my 360.... not that it was a good game. I can see there is a lot of improvements made to the demo, but cars handle really badly in it. Not good for a game where you'll be driving a lot. deletedxyz
Whose bright idea was it to set a 30 minute limit on the demo?
Yusuf M. Veteran Posted March 6, 2010 Veteran Share Posted March 6, 2010 It's timed and there's a large area to explore. Also, it's an NVIDIA poster game (logo and all). It ran fairly well on my HD 4870; however, it didn't look that great. The only thing that caught my attention was the scenery.
deletedxyz
The "motion blur" cheapened the experience since it did not give me a sense of a very detailed environment. The enemies were bullet sponges and their animations after being grappled or falling were scripted and not rag doll.
