Microsoft Demos Windows Phone, 360, PC Cross-Platform Game

Unbelievable! Can you imagine the possibilities with this, some guy on the bus playing the same game with someone on a full blown Xbox360. Microsoft are starting to scare me the amount of innovation they are coming up with.

That is very cool, I like how it has the ability to remember where you left off on the phone or on the PC etc, so you can keep going on no matter where you left off of.

I saw this coming. Microsoft knew it had a big problem with Apple's large selection of games on the AppStore, so they identified what they have that Apple doesn't. Xbox!

Also understand, Microsoft has been designing Windows Phone 7 Series for specifics. They make the platform work for you instead of Apple's retarded SDK that we have to adapt to. Microsoft knew what users wanted, and put that altogether. Apple didn't, they advertise and advertise and advertise and make it seem extremely great until you find out the weak potential underneath. That new Apple A4 chip was advertised as some revolutionary idea...until we found out the specs are junk. Having apps sounds great...until the dumbest users need to learn what apps have push notifications when they don't even know what a push notification is.

Microsoft, on the other hand, has designed the platform for hubs that just meet your needs. Everybody plays games on their iPod Touch, so coming to a Windows Phone, instead of having it all the same as the other apps, give it some good features, use a gaming cloud, etc. Need an alarm clock, just extend the current one. Need an IM app, just integrate it within the people hub.

My point is that Microsoft designed an OS that had a piece of the pie for everyone and anyone. They had the large market, they had the technology, they had the employees, and they put it all to work. Don't be surprised when you see a revolutionary SDK that allows you to do virtually anything you dreamed out with a much more flexible starting point to develop.

Now this is awesome, this three screens and a cloud thing is going to be superb.

The amount of things being churned out of Microsoft at the moment is amazing.

Devs want faster updates and more features I'd say. I hope they show some really good stuff at MiX.
