Spookie
More Medal of Honor please! :p Or anything we've not seen much of. The Splinter Cell footage is getting a bit over saturated at this point.
soniqstylz
Honestly, I don't even see EA on the show floor. Maybe Intel will have it. Should get a look at Crysis 2, as well, they have a huge setup. MS has been using BS2 and BFBC2. If only they'd let me log into my account....... I wonder if Sony will let me get some trophies.. lol
soniqstylz
Okay, big day for me. Got hands on with Modnation Racers - looks and runs fantastic now during gameplay. Load times suck before races, and there's a hitch when you finish a race and some framerate issues tools around the mods park area. However, in-race -- nice. CryEngine 3 looks ****ing sick, and on consoles looks like it knocks Killzone 2's dick in the dirt. Oh yeah, and it runs in stereoscopic 3d. They ran a side-by-side live demo with 360 and PS3 hardware, looks good on both, lighting was different, and some minor shadow glitches on 360. I don't know if that was just a problem booting up the demo, tho. Played MLB10 demo in 3d. Whoah, if I had the TV for it, I'd be sold on that. The game alone looks amazing (I already have my copy at home), but in this case it takes it to a whole other level. For the sceptics who say it's a gimmick, it wouldn't sell you, but for me made a big gameplay difference. Didn't get hands-on with Move, but did attend a demo by the devs. I can see the practicalities. I'll post more in the Move thread, but one cool thing is that the PSEye also does headtracking at the same time, allowing them to put you as the character, even in, say, a 3rd person shooter. Attended a the Uncharted 2 post-mortem, which was great, even hearing all the ways they still think they could have improved it -- despite the fact that tonight @ the GDC awards, they nearly swept everything for which they were nominted, including sound, tech, visuals, and GotY. Speaking of the awards, they closed with a new announcement / trailer for the new Deus Ex game, Human Revolution. Trailer was mostly cg, no gameplay. And yes, I got hands on with God of War. So ****ing amazing, so ****ing gripping that the crowd around me was enjoying watching the game, that an SCEA guy had to say "uh, 2 more minutes then let someone else play". The semi-soon-to-be-infamous 1st-person death scene drew a collective "oh ****" from our group.
soniqstylz
If anyone cares about the 3d, nVidia has some technology they're showing off, was quite a few 3d-capable TV's on the floor, and Sony has confirmed they went back and got it to work in older titles Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD, and Motostorm: Pacific Rift. Also overheard from a dev that the kits have been out for 3rd-party devs, and it'll be in firmware 3.2.
