Violent games outlawed in Venezuela

Agreed, I have to ask though, are the ones murdered because of political percussion or random robbery murders?

robbery, even tho there is heavy political percussion. there arent any killed so far. they put people who are agains the goverment in jail instead .

Well, in Chavez's defense, this law did not come to be just because of him. Several people had to vote in favor of it, so don't take it out on Chavez because he is the president.

Its like every other democracy in the world, the real power rests in the Senate.

what makes you think any kind of legitimate voting (legitimate anything really) goes on there?

It's funny how people who don't live there want to go invade and take other nations oil based on banned video games.

what kind of society do we live in?

No it's a valid comment, if you actually read the story they are worried that it will promote more drugs and violence...

"Colourful and outspoken Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez in January claimed that video games are a capitalist tool designed to sow violence and aid the sale of arms and drugs."
