They were working on a document in Word (Mac edition) that they last edited before Christmas. When they were finished updating it, they saved the file to their USB key, removed the USB key safely and plugged it in to a PC to print. However, when they opened the document none of the changes that they had made were there. I've looked through the USB key and have tried opening the temp files, but none of them relate to the document that the person was working on. It seems that the Mac said that it had saved the document and then didn't. The original file is still there, but any changes that she made today before saving again aren't. Just so I was certain, I asked her if she was sure that she saved it to the USB key, and she was adamant. Has anyone had this problem before? If so, did they manage to find a solution?
