MtnDewCodeRedFreak
Hey guys, I used to play old games on the Mac in the late 1980s and early 1990s. One particular game in mind had me wanting to search for it so I can play it - only problem is I can't even remember the name of it! So, I'm trying my best to describe it. It's like a maze and Pac-man combined. It's within a time limit, I think - you start in a black pathway (maze-like) and you have to get all the white dots (PacMan-like). At the beginning of each level, there's this black screen with the blue-and-white flickering number in the center. I remember Level 5 being red and orange, and Level 6 ... I think gray and yellow. I clearly remember my sister making it to Level 7 once - that was black and navy blue. Does that game ring any bells? If so, please answer and I'll check back here periodically. Thanks! blachole
Do you remember what generation Mac you played the game on? Was it Apple IIc generations or what? Was the game 8-bit style? Was it Spectre for Apple II?
MtnDewCodeRedFreak
First off, I texted my 31-year-old sister and asked her. She said it's not the Mac but it's the Commodore 64. Guess I got confused, huh? Lol. Secondly, with the big hint my sis gave me, I searched and searched .... even looked at tons of vids on YouTube. Then it happened - last night. I was looking at vid after vid of a YT user's channel "C64Archive" and came across a vid with the familiar-looking thumbnail .... lo and behold, pah - finally found it! It was "Oils Well."
