Deus Ex : Human Revolution trailer

Recommended Posts

Once I saw the shot of the city and the armed guards, I was starting to feel it a little bit, but that weird blade coming out of his arm just ruined it for me. Doesn't remind me of Deus Ex at all.

Still, we'll need to see some actual gameplay before making a judgement on whether or not this is a worthy prequel to DX1 (and let us not speak of the abomination that was DX2).

we will have to see a bit more. Did not see the resemblance to Ass Creed to be honest.

the first Assassins Creed was set in the middle east... Assassins Creed 2 is in europe during the renaissance, which is the beginning segment of the Deus Ex trailer...?

Oh I do realise that. I am just saying I do not see a resemblance. Especially since I know what kind of games the deus ex games are. Other then the arm blade thing I cannot see how it will be similar at all.

Pfft. I think they'll try and make something that will sell. The industry seems to be moving to simplicity.

Deus Ex sits on my shelf as one of the best frakking games I've played :) hope 3 will be good but keeping expectations low after seeing how 2 turned out.

Yes, but that's just a dream using the symbolism of Icarus as a metaphor for attempts to improve/modify the human body being a mistake.

I have to agree. The trailer just had a dream sequence at the beginning that had nothing to do with the game. It was just there to grab your attention for the trailer.
