I'm going to cry :(

I bought a 13" MBP after the whole debacle I went through trying to buy a MacBook on Neobay (check my post history if you care to know...)

now... guess what I have just done...

I dropped my TV remote control onto my MBP from about ~2ft onto the lid of my MBP......

deneted and scratched... :( all from a TV remote control

Dented and scratched from a TV remote? Either that's one heavy remote or the MBP has a cheap body.

One problem with Aluminium is it's very malleable. So no - it's certainly not a cheap body... It is however not a protective body :(

For some reason, I just about spat soda all over the desk because of this picture.

Sorry to hear about the dent.

I remember my first scratch... the shiny black lid of my brand new laptop, put away safely in the desk draw while I partied, next day I open the draw and watch the shiny black top scrape along the bottom of the draw above it :o

think of it as christening...the first dent/nick always feels the worst...then any subsequent ones don't matter at all...

haha that is so true. I always try so hard not to get any scratches on my new devices...but then as soon as the first one appears then it's meh oh well doesn't matter anymore.

Sucks about the dent though.

You're the unluckiest member on Neowin.

How about being layed off from a job repairing computers, and tomorrow have an interview at a bread packing factory?

Gutted for you. I'm OCD about my gadgets being damaged. It happened to my last laptop and so before I even bought my macbook, I bought one of these bad boys to protect it..

Sits on it while I'm using it so it doesn't even get scratched from dirty surfaces & goes straight back in when I'm finished using it lol.

I can top that. I'm in the exact same situation but without an interview in sight.:shiftyninja:

Also: Sucks, Sn00pY, but I'm the same as Razorfold, as soon as there's a scratch/dent it's like "Meh, oh well" after that :p
