Twilight video game absence has "cost millions"

In this case I think the game publishers finally saw the light. They finally realized that if a movie doesn't really have anything in it that would make a great game then don't even try. Because all you'll end up with is a horrible game that nobody wants to play.

How many young teenage girls own a PS3/Xbox 360, or a gaming PC for that matter? I'd assume that number to be very low. Thing is, they're what make up the bulk of the Twilight fan base. I'd say they would have lost money if they invested in the development of a Twilight console/PC game.

its called a Wii, and they would use there brothers consoles.

sucks to be you, your sister is using your 360 for the next 5 years, she'll throw a ninja star at you if you to quit playing twilight.

Im gonna go get a copy right on this game, hello rich lifestyle

Ah, the Wii... how could I forget about that console? A Twilight game might have a chance with it. As for my sister using my X360, yeah right. She doesn't play games and she isn't into Twilight (whew).

It'd probably be a lame action adventure type game, which is really good given the materials and boundaries the developers have been given but rubbish overall. Or of course they may pull something out of a hat and create the next Goldeneye - hey, it's possible!

To be honest, a Twilight fighting game (traditional 2D, or something akin to Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm's fighting element, I think could work quite well. I'd say since New Moon, and especially after the third movie, they'd have a fair roster of characters and each of them have various special abilities which could translate into a unique fighting game - provided it was given enough time, thought and consideration. The only problem is this probably wouldn't appeal to many teenage girls.

It wouldnt really make much sense anyway as a game imho. It's a romance film...getting the same feel into a game would be extremely difficult. At least harry potter is a bit more of an adventure movie from the outset so doing a game isn't a complete diversion from the source. A twilight game however makes almost no sense to me...it'd be a vampire game with the name "twilight" next to it.

Have you been dying to recreate your favorite scenes from the Twilight series? Well me neither, but I would like to fly around kicking butt and avoiding the sunlight. This is good, being that IGG announced Moonlight: Online today. Players will soon be able to control Vampire characters as they jump, fly and climb through supernatural environments that will be rendered using a cutting edge game engine. Players have also been promised that the game will feature plenty of outlets for their creativity. Could this mean the game will feature a lot of customization for characters?

The game will also feature the ability to create and destroy entire empires with superpower abilities, all while declaring war on the Werewolves! Sounds to us like a pretty nice combination of pale, powerful and destructive -- just like we like it. Details are promised over the next weeks and months, so keep en eye out here. The game is slated for release at the end of 2010.
