oldmate15
At Avril Lavigne's (SP?) concert here in Brisbane (I think) everyone there, had the loose neck ties, all the little kids right though to the older fans. Everyone was wearing them, except for one person, avril, she has stoped wearing it and is now into the sweat/arm bands worn by athletes

Jessterw
Pointless posts. Another bad fad. Anyhow the whole loose necktie thing was around way before Avril. One of the more popular stars to do it was Madonna, but there were ones even before her (Lucy Arnez) that did it. What's the big deal anyways? It's no different than baggy jeans, hats worn backwards, etc. The fact that people are annoyed by it is probably worse than someone doing it. John Veteran Posted July 1, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 1, 2003 She is GORGEOUS. :woot: btw, some restaurants require all their employees (male AND female) to wear neck-ties. i was just at olive garden a few days ago and they all had them on. god i love that place, too bad everything's $10-$15 :(
