Scirwode
I'm writing this on behalf of a friend. Recently a friend of mine has been burning photos using the Disc Utility on his new iMac. The problem is when he tries to open them on a Windows computer, they all come out with a dot at the beginning of the filename e.g. .photo01.jpg rendering the photo unable to open. He has no problems opening them on a Mac. Any way you can help me? Your advice is greatly appreciated :) . Scirwode
+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted March 24, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted March 24, 2010 Those are not the files - those are just metadata files as far as I know - which are invisible in OS X, but just appear as files on other OS's. The other files should be there with the .filename files. If not, then they probably haven't been burned correctly.
