Update: SCEE, unsurprisingly, has given us a ?no comment?.

Original Story: Look. It?s Motorstorm 3. Apparently.

A GAF poster has snapped a pic of someone on his friends list playing ?Motorstorm 3: The First Playable?.

This comes just a month after SCEE registered ?Motorstorm3.com? as a domain, which it later said it was ?not uncommon? to do for the company, although wasn?t meant to ?be interpreted as an announcement of a new title? in the Evolution-developed IP.

The last PS3 title in the series was Pacific Rift in 2008. Motorstorm debuted with the console in 2006, with a PSP-spin off, Arctic Edge, released last year.

We?ll send off an email to Sony, although don?t hold your breath for anything concrete.

They are still making this title? The first 2 have been total meh. Maybe they can redeem themselves. I also hope they can match their E3 footage of their concept from many years ago.

The first was alright, ut i really enjoyed the second one till some of the later stages where it started getting really really hard.

Also can't stand the rubberband ai, its as bad as the blue shell in Mario Kart, I don't want to put all my effort into trying to come first when some car that sould have been far behind is now not only on my tail, but passes me with ease.

That definitely won't happen  Not even GT5 comes close to it.

Aye, the rubberband AI was a bit rubbish. Hope the third game fixes that.

The target render was just so over the top for the first one, made the Killzone 2 target render look achievable, which I suppose in many ways it was in the end.
