Website feedback

Personally I don't like it at all. It lacks good structure, the sizing is a bit large for my taste, it needs alot of work in the color department. All opinion, of course.

It looks good (Y) The only thing I would suggest is on the portfolio page, to have the images open in a new tab rather than in the same one.

The colour hurts my eyes for some reason :(

It definitely needs more structure. Punctuation etc in the main block of text on the home page needs working on. Spacing and layout in the middle leaves a lack of focus - I load the page and I am not really sure where I am meant to start. The buttons in particular need to have more contrast between the button itself and the text on it.

There's no differentiation between normal text and links. The links in the intro text on the home page, for example, can't be seen unless you hover over them.

About the colors i`ll think about adding another stylesheet .

@minisean : it`s not a good thing to open images in new tabs .

@Duality : about Punctuation i`m not a native english speaker so any help will be great .

@Duality & Baines : i`ll look into the contrast issue.

@Gally : I want it to be like this but actually you are not the 1st one to tell me about this so i have to think about again.

Thanks evreyone.

To me it looks like you have 2 websites in one. You have really nice looking button on a blue grid.

I think you should think about your margins more, some of them just don't make sense. Perhaps making the page less wide would help.

On your contact page the background shadow looks really 1990's and the blur effect on the Input'sdoesn't look professional.

=) at least your buttons look ok.

I like it, although it's almost too much blue. I'm not sure how I feel about that much vibrant color on one page. Looks much better when there's some pictures that have white space on it, but maybe some white space in the actual layout would help the eyes... ... adjust.

Except for how the colors hurt my eyes it's nice, sure i do have a headache right now but you might want to easy down a little on those sharp colors, but except for that it's pretty good

The contrast of the colors is really harsh. I do like the design itself however I'd test to see if the orange button for requesting a quote should be the focus color versus your portfolio button.

The first thing people do on portfolios.. is check out your portfolio. I think that should be your focus for viewers versus your quote button.

Other then that I really like the inset shadow on the forms when it's in focus :).

i like the css3 effects...

other than that, like what some other people have said already, the colours hurt my eyes. may i suggest a lighter shade of the background?

size and user interaction (hover effects where the misc links are hidden until you need them) are nice. colours needs major work, and more distinction between each section of the page.

I like the CSS3, and the individual elements of the site, but as a whole, and with that colour scheme, it just doesn't work for me..

For me the site dosent work on this basis;

  • I cant make out the different sections of the site as the contrast dosent run well across the site.
  • The massive orange button in the middle draws my attention from everything else, i think that if anything you should have the portfolio in orange as i feel i am being led to request a quote before i am shown what is on offer.
  • The menu is almost un-noticable, if the Home wasn't highlighted in light blue i would of glanced past it almost immediatlety
  • Lastly it hurts my eyes.

I like it. :) You need to set some margins, though, visible ones. Maybe add some color? Something in between.

@bassem & primexx : thanks.

@primexx: i don`t know if i get what said right or not , but do you mean adding something like "background colors , borders, etc..." to make every section clear ?
