dexter007 Posted August 24, 2001 Share Posted August 24, 2001 Can any 1 help ?? please tell me y the start menu in windows XP really slow? i don know what does it load, but it takes a very long time before it pops up (especially on the all programs 1) I am using windows XP build 2509, and my comp. is p3 1Ghz, and ram is 128... please help me by atleast telling me that y is it so, or how to solve the problem... thanks :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trojin Posted August 24, 2001 Share Posted August 24, 2001 ya there is a way to change that go to that go to microspft.com and go to xp then go to xp tweaks and you will see a bunch of tweaks there and the start menu comming up faster it there. (window key + r, then type regedit) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop Select MenuShowDelay from the list on the right. Right on it and select Modify. Change the value to 0.
