domain url redirection to subfolder

Question

So I'm thinking of changing my main host to Godaddy.

I want to finally start working on my own person site and blog. That's fine on its own, let's say at www.mywebsite#1.com. I have another blog separate which I want to include in the hosting, let's say it'll go into www.mywebsite#1.com/blog#2 subfolder.

The domain I have it under is a different domain, www.mywebsite#2.com, it's under Google's domain registrar.

How can I make the #2 domain not only redirect, but stay in the url bar of the user for www.mywebsite#1.com/blog#2.

Is that even possible?

Sooo wait..

You want to access your domain as domain2.com or as domain1.com/domain2/?

If you go to GoDaddy, they utilize cPanel which allows you to create an add-on domain on your main hosting account.

You can purchase hosting for domain1.com but if you want to utilize another domain name, you'll create an add-on domain under cPanel that will be created in the backend as domain1.com/domain2/ BUT you access it in the frontend as domain2.com.

access it as domain2.com. and if that's so then that's perfect.

i just don't want it to redirect, as if you type in domain2.com and then once it redirects, it will show as domain1.com/subdirector2 in the user's url bar.

The only time you'll ever access it as domain1.com/domain2/ is when you type in that URL. Otherwise you can access it as domain2.com anywhere in the web and that's what everyone sees. It will never show as anything but!

It's setup as /domain2/ in cPanel as that's just how it's all setup for directories under your user account.

/home/domain1/public_html/domain2/index.php -- That would be your absolute path you'd see throughout your backend. But frontend is just domain2.com. :)

The add-on link I gave you is for cPanel so that will explain much better than my crappy attempt ;)
