Wireless Network Card Software

Recommended Posts

I have 2 US Robotics Wireless Cards (1 for the PC and 1 for the Laptop) On both computers the software that came with them (U.S. Robotics Wireless LAN Configuration Utility)., i have a slight problem. It does not show the Link Quality and Signal Strength even when both computers are connected. Ive updated the software but still doesnt work. Ive included a screen shot. Does anyone know how i can enable this ? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Windows XP Supports Wireless, if you're using that, you don't need any software, just install the drivers for your wireless and then use Windows XP.

The operating system will show you signal strength if you use the network connection icon in your taskbar =)

it said somewhere on the us robotics site that there is a software update have u tryed installing that. i tryed installing that to fix my problem and it didnt seem to fix it, u might have better luck than me. ive even tryed formatting and re installing the PC but it still does not show up so im guessing theres a problem with the US Robotics software not my PC. When u installed ur software did it show the signal strength automatically or did u have to enable it somewhere. What cards have u got (ive got the 2210 (laptop card) and 2216 (PCI Card))
