Massiveterra
So I have a ton of Gamefly dollars saved up that expire soon and I want to use them before they do. I think I'm looking for a good local coop game for me and my gf to play together. I have all 3 consoles with 2 or more controllers for each system. I already have LBP and NSMB so cross those off the list. Also, no FPS, TPS plz.
soniqstylz
http://www.co-optimus.com/system.php?id=2&direction=DESC&playerComp=%3E%3D&playerNum=2&splitscreen=on&released=Y&esrb=%25 That's for PS3, adjust filters for other consoles.
Livin in a box
Offline multiplayer with no DLC is the Wii's forte. Games like Mario Kart Wii and all those other Wii games like that. Super Mario Galaxy does have 2 players, but all the second player does it collect those star things.
Viper217
While personally my vote would go to Resident Evil 5 for having great coop, doesn't sound like that's what you want. without fps/tps you lose out on 3/4 of console coop. you could always coop some older PC games if you have 2 comps, Neverwinter Nights 1/2 are always good, or Diablo 2/pick your clone (my fav is titan quest). older comp games should run just fine on even prebuilt laptops with integrated video 'cards' nowadays. plus PC games are often a bit less structured, so you and your gf could work through them at your own pace. ____
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 - Both really fun in co-op. Fable II - Great if one of you doesn't mind being the toadie. Rock Band - Fun games but require the investment in instruments. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection - Some of the games have co-op. Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise - I've never played the second one but first was fun and Co-Optimus gives this a 5 out of
