PlazzTT
Hi, Is there anyway of using the combined speed of two 56K connections? I have two modems and two phone lines. I know that there is a way of using Dual ISDN, can something similar be done with 56K?

Neb
yes, i think this can be done, i remember an option in windows 98 to use multiple modems to connect to a dial-up service.

spike232
does the ISP not need to suport shotgun modems to do this??
Dominik
i'm not sure, but i think you need a small server (can be 486,16mb ram and win95),install NAT on it,and connect both modems.it should work...
[jon]
ye, i also heard something about this, it should work though i do think u need shotgun modem support

TuRKiSH^FiReBiRD
You can, its called Multilinking Install both modems, and setup ur connection, go and configure the connection to use both modems, and check one of the options to do multilink, i can't remember off the top of my head exactly though, sorry. PlazzTT
Thanks, I'll try that now. There's a bit about Multilink in the Windows XP Help and Support Center (press F1 on desktop). Search for "Configuring multiple device dialing"

PlazzTT
I've tried it and it seemed like it was going to work, but my ISP doesn't support it. Once you have the two modems installed it's very easy to set up.
