lecter
I'm considering paying 20$ a year for Hotmail service and I'd like to know if besides the extra account/group space they also remove those annoying ads and make it a more streamlined experience...does anyone have such an account? Thanx in advance.
sphere
For that price why not get your own @yourname.com email with POP3?
lecter
Well I don't want POP3 email, and Hotmail integrates very nicely with Messenger&stuff...
kjordan2001
Ouch, $20 for hotmail? Why would you wanna pay $20 for more space for all that spam and slow servers just because it integrates with Messenger?
Paulstorm
Hey lecter, About to hit the sack here...but I wanted to reply. I am a BYOA MSN Internet Service subscriber. The web experience via MSN Hotmail remains the same. The only difference of course is more filters, more space, and no email-tag that gets added to outgoing mail. Edit: oh yeah, and your account won't have the same activity restrictions...if you don't login for a whole year...np, your account will remain active. bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 30, 2003 Veteran Share Posted June 30, 2003 yeah I would go with Yahoo! mail instead. Like trade wind said, I was, now am, pretty sure that the ads do remain even after you buy the service.
