linked
Ok, so my sister just got a new laptop, and for some reason, it hates our network. She's connected to it, the speeds are just REALLY, REALLY slow (took 5 minutes to load Neowin... actual 300 seconds, not exageration). I'm quite sure it's not the network- We're on Cable, and 3 other computers have no problems with it. Now, I was the one setting up those 3 computers, so I know my networking to atleast some degree, but this has me stumped. We're on a router, and when I try to go to the routers IP (192.168.1.1, the standard for linksys routers), it's the same problem. So, I'm gonna assume that it's her laptop, since she can't even connect to the router too well. It's a stock built-in network card, and I don't think it's a driver problem, I think it's just something skewed with the settings. I tried disableing Bridged Connections, and totally lost the network connection altogethor. Any ideas?
liar2
Have you tried inserting it in a different port on the router? It could just be a bad port. It was like that with my friend's router. Port number 2 didn't work for some reason... Linksys as well.

linked
It's using the same port/connection/cables/everything as her old computer, which worked just fine on that... But just for kicks, I changed it, still no luck. Any other ideas?
