Samsung DLP HDTV

I recently took my Samsung TV to a repair shop so that they could diagnose what was wrong with it. They concluded that it was the lamp (TV's around 3 years old, so I had figured that the lamp would need a replacement). So, they serviced it, and I had my TV back two days ago. It worked for two days with no apparent issues. Today, I turned on the TV, but it wouldn't display an image. I checked the back, and the lamp didn't seem to start up.

Now, on the front of the Samsung TV, there are 3 blinking lights:

- Stand By/Temp, showing a Red light.

- Timer, showing a Green light.

- Lamp, showing a Green light, too.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue with their TVs...

What do you think might be the issue? Is it something that I could fix?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! :D

If Temp is blinking red, it may be a dead fan which is leading to overheating.

I took it back to the repair shop, today. I'm hoping that I won't have to pay a lot to get it repaired. :/

They were supposed to diagnose what was wrong with it the first time around. Today, they said that it might be the ballast...

Anyways, thanks for your help, bangbang023. (Y)
