Hendrick
I have it installed using BootCamp, and but the only reason it's installed is so I can do my Inventor Homework for school. Otherwise, I strictly use OSX.

sanctified Veteran Posted April 17, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 17, 2010 Yes, as my only os in fact. I love OS X, but I need Windows.
vladmphoto
Yes I have had Windows 7 Professional installed through bootcamp on my Macbook pro but as I never used it I uninstalled it and activated it on an actual PC which does get used frequently....seemed like a waste of a license. I should mention it was the 32-bit one because I ran out of 64-bit licenses on MSDNAA but I am assuming the 64-bit version should install just as well. +Frank B. Subscriber² Posted April 17, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted April 17, 2010 I have Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. Not for much longer though - as soon as Steam for OS X is out the Boot Camp partition is going to be removed. If I need to use Windows I can use 7 on my netbook or use a VM (currently only have a Windows XP VM set up though). Geoffrey B. 1 Share
SojIrOu
I only bought my macbook pro to use windows on it. Love OS X and been using macs since OS9 but it can never 100% satisfy my needs.

This is what I initially had in mind when I installed Windows on my Mac but since I have a mac notebook I really hate the fans running at full blast while trying to play my steam games. I sort of left it and never came back to it so i eventually got rid of Windows 7 and put my old copy of XP on it.
SaltLife
I only have 7 installed as a virtual machine. I use it primarily for testing, so I have no need to boot into the OS as a primary option. Besides, the license I own for 7 is for 32bit, a waste on the machine really.
