chrispinto
So after randomly Reading that tottenham court road is a bit of the dogs danglies for mac hardware, I took myself off thismorning and haggled myself a shiny new mbp 13" for ?870 (pre April '10 refresh) which is a fair bargain. I am entirely new to the mac world so as such I am entirely clueless (apart from my iPhone) What I'd like to know for now is what are the IM clients that are good for msn? Also, any other musthave software?
Vice
Adium is the best client for MSN on the Macintosh platform in my opinion.
OrangesOfCourse
Check out the sticky threads. There is a huge software list there! :) Mac OS X Software List: https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/571489-mac-os-x-software-list/ Mac OS X Guide: https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/612931-mac-os-x-guide/ Another nod towards Adium. +jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted April 15, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted April 15, 2010 Agreed, Adium is good. As for Must-haves, most applications are already bundled in.
Alladaskill17
Welcome to the Mac platform, even if only partially. Must have software obviously depends on your usage and hobbies. I agree with jamesyfx, most everything needed is bundled straight in.

russellc
Second thing to install. iChat is pretty sweet, unfortunately doesn't support MSN. I now use it for Facebook chat though!
