Mindless fun, I enjoy stealing military airplanes and just bombing the hell out of military headquarters all round :) Also runs much better than GTA... cities are empty though? Must've been hit by zombies

you know whats weird.. my cities are empty too.... they wernt last week. I think maybe theres a bug in the latest DLC? My cities were full of ppl walking around and cars driving but now.... not a soul in sight except military.

+1 Maybe it has something to do with the latest DLC, because I didn't notice it, till I updated.

The game is fun for about 3-4 hours and then the 'fun' just drops, NO decent story to keep you interested, NO implementation of proper physics to mess around with bodies and watch how destruction unfolds, completely over-the-top features

that let you explore so fast, you feel like you've seen "everything" a bit too quickly. By everything I mean the most obvious areas, going over the same copy & paste terrain is not exploring. The engine is amazing and it's a bloody shame it was

wasted on a game like this.

Yeah... I got this yesterday after playing the demo for a while. I'm 5 hours in and I'm bored to tears already. There's only so much blowing up stuff and then running from the cops you can do before you die of boredom. Without a decent story there's just no point, no goal. I've flown around pretty much the whole map, blown up virtually every type of object at least once. The faction missions are just dull.

I played/completed the Saboteur recently on the PS3 which had the same idea, i.e occupied WW2 Paris with a ton of Nazi emplacements to destroy, but that had a semi decent story linking everything together, meaning you blew up stuff as a side quest and not the primary goal which kept it fresh. You did it because you wanted to do it and not because you was forced to. The game also had a decent soundtrack whist driving which for some reason, Just cause doesn't have.

A shame, I really enjoyed the demo but I don't think I'll bother much longer with it at all.

I'm renting it and I think it's good, but I will get bored of it soon.

It feels like Crackdown mixed with Spiderman. :p

I passed on this game because it will not run on XP at all... their loss.

lol thier loss. Somehow i doubt people that wont pay to upgrade thier pcs are a threat to thier game sales.

As for the game, it was fun for sure but the car handling was down right stupid. The driving was definitely a last minute addition before releasing the games.

Yeah, it's no fault of the developer. XP just uses old technology that today's games are beyond.

Pretty much. It's also likely that those who have the system spec required to run the game are already running Vista or above so dropping XP will hardly affect their sales massively.

I played again a bit earlier, It's also getting damn annoying clearing out a base only to be forced to run around it for 5/10 minutes finding the last box/thing to blow up. Again, the Saboteur which I played recently let you bring up a map that would show the average location or they appeared on the minimap.

Get in a chopper or jet and just shoot everywhere :p

ya I do, it's those damn upgrade boxes that are a pain to get. The arrow that appears is near enough useless given that usually you are right on top of them before it starts moving.

You do know the Wifi signal symbol thing on the top left corner of the screen is like a Proximity detector for the upgrade boxes.. Right?

Just makin sure. :shiftyninja:

Indeed it is, someone forgot to read the manual. Means you can hover around with a helicopter to find boxes, it will show them when you are in long proximity.

Where can I find these military airplanes?

Military airplanes of course are on the military airbases (the ones with strips). The G9 Eclipse can be found at several of them.

I believe I'm at 55% world completion. I plan to pass at least 75% before starting the game on a harder difficulty muahahah

I really don't get one of the achievements. I'm sure I'd have to find a guide.

I get this weird bug where once in a while my guy just slowly floats up into the sky until a chopper shoots him down. ?I suppoe I should find out if its a known issue.

I've seen a few floating turrets and whatnot, plus the fact that Rico ragdolls like crazy occasionally which is really annoying. And getting aeroplanes to go backwards is finicky. I can do it SOMETIMES but I'm not quite sure how. :p But other than that it's pretty swift.

Yeah it was a funny review. I'm actually starting to laugh out loud at his work now, instead of a simple grin like I used to. :shiftyninja:
