hav0c
How true... An Israeli doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him looking for work in six weeks." A German doctor says, "That is nothing. WE can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks." A Russian doctor says, "In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have them both looking for work in two weeks." The American doctor says, "You guys have nothing on us. We just took a man with no brain out of Texas, put him in the White House, and now half the country is looking for work." Being Republican has nothing to do with anything, and neither does being an American. And yes, this breaks the rules and really should be closed before more comments like your's, Detriment, are made. If he was trying to make a joke, maybe he should have tried harder. I could really care less, as I was just stating my opinion.

There is no way about deciding who is right and wrong, and which should be said or otherwise. It is just cause for a flamewar, and that is why the no political-humor rule was created. Detri
Don't correct someone's grammar, and then make a mistake yourself. "I hate the nobody thinks about that statement when they say it." ;)
Arch
Nice catch. It's not the grammar that bothers me, but the fact that everyone says it that way and it doesn't make any sence.

Once you pick it up from someone, it's hard to not use it incorrectly. By the way, it's sense, not sence. :) Just to keep with the trend. :shifty:
Arch
Shh, I'm very tired at 4:30 in the morning. I don't believe that you needed a comma in that sentence. I'm going to sleep now...

intensityx
I thought that this joke was funny the first time that I heard it, and I still think it is funny. Since the joke does not imply that Bush is "brainless" because he is a Republican, or target any group or cause, this doesn't constitute a political joke. Instead, the joke draws upon Bush's own reputation. I would think that even the staunchest partisan could recognize that Bush has made himself a prime target for this type of joke all on his own.
