threetonesun
Doom was the only old game I ever played on the computer. I was always a console kid. And, Age of Empires one, but that's not too old.
Boffa Jones Veteran Posted July 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 3, 2003 This probably doesnt count but lord's of the realm 2. That game was the best. There was alos this gaem that came ona disk with comand and conquer (the original. It was a hover car game you had guns and you could get powerups. It was really fun it was called the "zone' or soemting to that effect. ( The car shot yellow lazers and was beat up and mostly blue, the hover 'stuff' on the bottom was green)
XavierHyde
I'd say The Incredible Machine 3.0. An awesomely addictive game. And of course, Lords of Magic SE wasn't half bad... FYI, all LucasArts games are most decidedly not abandonware, they're still sold by LucasArts in their online store. Of all companies in the gaming business, LucasArts seems the best at keeping their games "on the shelf".

AndyD
dont know if its abandonware, but Leisure Suit Larry. oh yea I still remember going through the questions for Larry I at the beginning of the game that governed how censored the game would be. I would put most adventure games that I played on the list. :) Also, I have fond memories of Wing Commander :) One of the reasons why I bought a 3DO back in day, which cost me $450 at the time. Funny how I could justify that purchase at that time while I can't bring myself to actually buy a new video card. heh
