nhut
Well, considering how terrible Reloaded was, I don't have very high hopes for Revolutions, so I'll say ROTK. If it's anywhere near as good as its predecessors, and from people who've seen rough cuts it far surpasses them, then it's going to be one hell of a movie. :) Looking forward to it. JodyWatts
I have to vote for the Matrix Revolutions, but VERY close to it will be LOTR:TROK! But I have to agree with others, we might see a "breakout" movie, that is not even out yet, that will surpass all others!
Toxicfume Veteran Posted July 4, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 4, 2003 The Matrix will probably be the most publicised of them all.

bayrider
Finding Nemo has killed just about everyone in box office sales at 320million, only the Matrix is near that @ 277mill then Bruce Allmighty at 238mil
AgEnTsMiTh
by industry standards, they save the oscar worthy films till near the end of the year in order to keep it fresh in the minds of voters. Thus it is WAY TOO early to come up with an answer, there are many hopefulls but that is it. The only thing this year that has stood out by far is the film MAY in an oscar sense. But there have been some great popcorn fair. We shall have to do this thread for reals in December.
Terminator
I think that 2003 will be remebered for LOTR:ROTK, but I think by my user name everyone can tell which film I would actually like to be remembered for 2003. :p :D
biorK
I belive that Matrix 2 and 3 will be most remembered. Even though that ROTK won't lie far behind.

martinsc
matrix - there are two options it all depends on Revolutions... If it's a success well than it's clear that Matrix triology will be remembered for ever! if it fails it will be remembered for the fact they got millions of ppl addicted to it without any reason...
