Implementing 3D Was 'A Really Tough Job' For GT5 Programmers

I take it that implementing 3d to vapour ware was actually very easy are we ever gonna see this game?

No it's never coming out, and if it does by a miracle of the Gods, don't buy it either because waiting on it makes it not worth playing.

Quite probably, it's the same general implementation (different because you're not using a projector, but it does flip the different images for each eye while blocking out the other eye, a side effect of which is that you only see 50% of the light being emitted, making for good sunglasses indoors)

I read a review somewhere (might be Bit-Tech) where they tested GRID or a similar racing game in 3d. Needless to say, it was stupid and a worthless gimmick, almost impossible to drive properly.

Am I the only one that isn't bothered about 3D in games? Not a huge fan of it on films to be honest.

Couldn't they have added this after the game was released? Not everyone has a 3D compatible TV for now and probably won't for a while.

With the time slot of when the game is being released it's going to be used to push 3DTVs.

Expect to see GT5 setup in 3D at Best Buy and the likes....
