+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted July 3, 2003 Subscriber² Share Posted July 3, 2003 My logic confounds you Jack? Surely not. Think it this way, if the mechanical terminators (as opposed to the liquid shap-shifting ones) looked like a regular guy, there is MORE chance of them being unspotted. But a foxy chick or a beefcake stands out. Now obviously the Arnie-style terminator is from a template, so people know what to look for. Fone - so eventually anything would be recognised. All I am saying is that a regular guy would have less distinguishing features (or rather: not a huge great musclebound geeza) and take longer to be recognised. And yeah the t-1000 was unassuming. He wasn't all that big, looked like a regular guy (you know, who could morph and stuff - lol).
AshMan
It won't come out in the UK until sometime next month and I am away on vacation then :-( Can anyone post any spoilers with a warning at the top to not spoil it for people who don't want to know? I've waited 11 years; I don't want to wait a further 2 month. PLEASE? Edited July 3, 2003 by AshMan

oojaxxoo
set a little further into the future and with a female terminator that isn't half as cool as the liquid metal one from T2 how can u even say that when you haven't even seen the movie?? if i remember correctly...she is still part liquid metal...AND she can do even cooler things than the t-1000 did. i'm not gonna spoil it for those who haven't seen it on what she can do though... gosh
I saw T3 last night, and i must say i was impressed. For the ful 2 hours or whatever it was i was at the edge of my seat. It had the perfect mix of good story telling, action, and great acting. There's no way anyone can say this movie sucked. Also, it REALLY annoys me that people are saying this movie sucks when theyve never seen it! See a movie before you rate it! -gosh
tcm
njlouch - we don't know what the real shape of the t-1000 was/is, because it morphs. the only reason it looked "unassuming" in t2 was because it could take the form of anything it touched. i'm suprised no one picked up on this by now. FriedApple
I loved the movie!!!! I think it was better that T2. The T-X was also a much better Terminator that the T-1000. It had the Liquid Metal over the new Skeleton which was really a great idea. I know there is going to be a T4 but I didn't read anything about it just incase it would have spoiled the end to T3. So I was not expecting the ending at all of T3. I can not say enough cool things about it. This movie is FAR better than the Matrix Reloaded. You can also tell that there was a different director. This is a good thing IMO. The T-850 was less human as in T2 and more like a "robot" in T3. Just fantastic... that is all I can say now. Jessterw
this is no way to truly distroy skynet...the future is writen and can not be changed... Don't you know that is the whole reason Skynet sent the Terminators back in time to kill John Connor? He had the ability (through his leadership and such) to successfully fight and win a battle against Skynet and the Terminators. Hence we are talking about the future, not the past. freeza: I realize Connor is older in T3 and the T4 will obviously now take place after we nuke ourselves, however what I was saying was that I had hoped T3 would have been what T4 is now going to be. Not saying that T3 isn't an awesome movie, just seems like a rehash to a degree. oojaxxoo: Sorry for assuming things about the new Terminatrix. Didn't realize she was a mix of liquid metal and the endoskeleton. I'm going to try and see T3 this weekend if I can convince my wife to go with (hate going to the theatre all by my lonesome and everyone else will be out of town). Really interested to see how the plot lines up with details we learned about in the previous two movies.

Nerd Rage
Good or not, for costing approx 250 million to make after publicity, it flopped big in its opening day. Legally Blonde 2 almost made more money
jpcahn
I cannot believe the positive feedback. The movie was almost a carbon copy of Terminator II. I would have hoped that in 12 years there would be more progress then that. I won't spoil it by going over the numerous scenes that I saw before already in T II but there are several. It seems to me they only made this as a prequel to making T 4 possibl;y minus Arnold.
+Warwagon MVC Posted July 4, 2003 MVC Share Posted July 4, 2003 This movie was focking awsome......ok.. it didn't have the same great look of T2 and maby that was only because it was an early 90's film.... but this one does look great in its own way... and the part where the Crane goes end over end is just so focking cool words can't describe it.... GO SEE IT!!!
Scorbing
Just came from the movie theater. It was a damn fine film. The Terminator lady did her part very well. She was absolutely awesome and Arnold is still looking good at 56. The man can still do what he does best.
