Dutchlike
t3 actually seems like a rush... they dropped many ideas in the beginning... they were gonna do a future movie... but someone didn't want that so they made the same story all over again... And I also dislike the fact that the new terminator is a new model... it should be a group of t-800 units or soming like that... but definatly not a new model... and I would have liked a male t-x actor better. And get rid of that name... t-x OMG... why not go name skynet and techcom... computer-x and res-fusion??? jeez
S.MULLA
t3 actually seems like a rush... yes that is very true...i was like at times..thinking to my self "why didnt they expand this part by explaining it a little better"..why show the future battles in the trailer when it was a few seconds from the movie...by this i mean..they made me think it was based on the future...with lots of robots etc...even some scenes from the traierl were cut out from the movie itslef...!!! caerma
really good.  btw, is Model T-101. (T-800???).
Dutchlike
I can't quite remember... I believe the 101 is a prototype of the infilitrator units such as arnold in movies 1, 2 and 3 the t-800 is the walking skeleton thing you see in the intros of 1 and 2 and in the factory part in movie 1... correct me if i'm wrong. It could also be that the t-101 isn't t-101 but just (...)101 cuz the t-100 is a self-propelled mine and I don't think skynet would name anything t-101-199 if it wasn't some sorta smart-mine. oh... I'll just shut up. :) EDIT: "Many T800s were produced in a single variant; the 800 Series Model 101 Cyborg or cybernetic organism, a hybrid of living tissue covering the microprocessor controlled hyperalloy armored endoskeleton. Using advanced techniques, SKYNET finally produced a machine capable of passing as a human. Bad breath, body odor, sweat, blood, tears, and a host of other bodily excretions made the camoflage perfect. A T800 with custom vat grown skin could pass for a human 95% of the time, unless a spotter dog was present. Field reports of T800 units infiltrating underground Resistance bunkers and achieving complete tactical success were common. The casualty rates claimed for the T800 series, especially the cyborg variant, were far greater than that of the T600; on the order of 200 to 1 and climbing. Many cyborg variants were produced, with each 'model' including a slightly different height, hair color, hair style, hair texture, skin color, eye color, etc. The same style of unit was never used twice in one area for tactical considerations." Marc A.
For those of you hoping to see a T4, there is not going to be a T4. This is it. The last of the Terminator films. No more. Utter Bull**it, know your facts man.
giantsnyy2002
saw t3 think its great... and i know why they werent able to destroy skynet before judgement day. 1. No terminator sent back to 1984 2. No Kyle sent back to 1984 3. No John Connor if they destroyed skynet in the 3rd movie, before judgement day happens, then the whole storyline of the terminator series would have been pointless. Also in T3, arnie says that the humans defeated skynet. I think T4 would be the last chapter of the Terminator series, ending with John Connors death and the overall destruction of skynet. anyone else share my views? edit: no, im not a terminator fan boy and yes i know its a movie before anyone even gets close to flaming me on that
tronmaster
I saw T3...according to another website, there are LOTS of scenes that were cut from the film. Some you can actually see from the different trailers. I LOVED the ending. It was totally unexpected, I thought John and Kate were actually going to Skynet's core. Oh and I fell in love with Claire Danes again...
jono3000
OMG what an amazing film. Best film ive seen for ages, definetly better than Matrix Reloaded. Arnie is a legend! The crane chase is awesome. There was some classic funny lines from the Terminator. Cant wait for DVD and T4. Im still buzzing from seeing this film!

Chicane-UK Veteran Posted July 10, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 10, 2003 Saw this last nite and was blown away.. they did a very good job, and this is a more than worthy addition to the Terminator franchise. Though obviously its not out over here yet so I got it from 'other sources' - but I will be going to see this on the big screen without a doubt when its released over here next month!! :D

Ji@nBing
just saw it finally tonight. though not as good as it should have and could have been, it was still fantastic. there were a few things i would have liked to see developed a bit more, but overall a very enjoyable film and worthy of the franchise. can't wait for t4!!! sks447
I personally loved the brutal action in this film, but the actors besides arnie and loken should have been re-cast. I still think its flaky that skynet was destroyed in the 2nd film, and now its still around. They didn't clarify that other than " you can't stop it, its meant to be b.s." It is annoying with the same formula too, i.e. one good terminator one bad terminator. Why not send 4 t-x's back in time?? Get the job done. t-2 was a far superior movie as far as the storyline. I just shrug em off and enjoy the action.
S.MULLA
another disappointment was they got rid of the original terminator music...
Troop101
T2 is by far better than T3, in so many ways. In T3 there was none of that suspensful music coming into the scenes like in T2. I still think the visual effects in T2 are much better than in T3. Still a decent film. :)
Steven P. Administrators Posted July 19, 2003 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2003 Saw it last night when it opened here in Holland I thought it was great, we were laughing at the star glasses and the "talk to the hand" scenes but also the scene where they locked Katie in the back of the truck and shes screaming and kicking Connor shouts "Relax!" and she just continues and Arnie also shouts "Relax!" as if that helped :p The action scenes where great, I felt a lack of cg which made T2 better in that respect and the best scene was defenitely with the truck and the cable in the manhole I loved it, was caught off guard with the ending and from what I've seen there has to be a T4
Parasite
I am in complete disappointment. Terminator 2 is probably my most favorite movie at all time. The movie was perfectly written and directed by no other movie I?ve seen imo. The script was Action packed with well thought out scenes and it was deaseriousb>. Now today I went out to see Terminator 3, I couldn?t see it on opening for work reasons. A friend of my, another terminator fan told me what he thought about the movie, trying not to spoil anything all I could hear was disappointment. Well I thought it couldn?t be that bad. He told me not to expect T2. Now before I went to watch t3 I walked into Harvey Norman (TV, pc etc... shop) and they where playing T2 DVD (yeah Ultimate edition just came out   ) The scene where john O?Conner was caught between both terminators in the hall way was on, such a great scene. Just by watching that bit again I knew that it?s going to hurt to:crazy:T3  . So I watched the movie and I?m extremely disappointed. Reasons why? Imo Terminator 3 was basically a Parody of T2, well not in total but they made the terminators act/look like a joke, nearly every serious scene had to have some Silly joke. Well most people in the cinema Laughed and I did to laugh at some; it was when I came out of the cinema to Realized it has wreaked the serious imo. The Worst part is it will be included in the DVD trilogy pack. I bet if you get some one that hasn?t watched any of the terminator movies and made him watched them all the way through, they would think t3 makes them look like a joke. Terminator shouldn?t have that amount of comedy in it, it seriousa serious film. its not that which disappoints me, the fact that the action wasn?t so good enough, They had the money to be able to have total demolition of cars on the streets they could of at least wrote a stunning action scene. Terminator 2 actions scenes where so much intense and stunning. But I won?t go too far in the action scenes I will go on and on. The next thing is the score, where was it? There was probably one decent scene which had good music. And the one thing that truly ****ES ME OFF is the opening scene, it?s traditional that they show the judgment day, in this movie they showed **** all, with all the CG put into the t-800 we could have at least seen something. But on final note, this maybe a huge bias rant because I was so into the terminator series, as a non Terminator fan I would think its a good movie thought. The ending was great thought. It just ****es me off because I grown up to movies like these and seeing it being destroyed by such Silly comedy. Well I better shut up now. PS. This is my opinion. mAcOdIn Veteran Posted July 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted July 19, 2003 Thats the problem getting to attached or comparing a movie to a predecessor. Was it T2? No. Was it T1? No. But I think on it's own it stands it's ground. It was a good movie, but T2, or T1 it was not. It was T3.
