Just saw T3

just got back from cinema! T3 is amaaaaaaaazing! much much better than i've expected! i thought this movie's gonna suck but i still had to see it simply because i love T2. i was soooo wrong, T3 is just as good as T2! i wouldn't compare it to T2 though, T2 was groundbreaking and all.. T3 is just a great sequel. :) there's got to be a T4!!! can't wait for T4 really!!!

It sucked, so many plot holes, so many stupid pathetic things, ****e ending. No wonder Cameron doesn't want anything to do with it. Total utter POS.

Meh. I thought it was pretty crap... drawn out action sequences, Arnie just isn't what he was in T2, Claire Danes' acting was terrible (she was good in Romeo & Juliet... what happened?), and terrible dialogue. And they didn't play the Terminator theme until the credits. :( Cameron is sorely missed.

Still, at least it wasn't as dissapointing as Matrix Reloaded. 6/10

Anyone ever noticed something?

T3 was like a film in two parts

- all the action scenes

- all the storyline advancement

So it went something like [action]-[action]-[storyline]-[action]-....

Quite clearly demarcated..

Having said that, I thought it rocked! Loken was gorgeous, Arnold looked the part, the action scenes were great, there was a plot twist... and most important, it gave you a sort of epic feel.

down boy! i liked it despite all this. i try not to be too analytical of the plot, etc, when i see a movie like this. i just try and sit back and enjoy the ride.

So do I, but it went too far with the crapness, not to mention the dire ending.

I watched it again. I have to agree somewhat with that view point. T2 was the best so far. I don't see T4 being any better than T3. T3 had some good points and bad points. That TX kinda didn't make sense. The Liquid T in T2 was a better fighter than TX. I thought the movie was alright though. Not as bad as Matrix Reloaded.

Down man!!!

I think you should go along with drama movie not action movie like T3.

I love T3's ending.

Never gonna be happy all--It's good :alien:

I thought it was pretty good. Not a great movie, but it had it's moments. I agree that it doesn't have the same feel as the other two. Cameron is definitely missed.

Yeah, the TX paled in comparison to the T1000. And the ending did indeed suck, especially if you looked at the film as pure eye candy (which is the only way to partially enjoy it), it went out with a big ###### whimper.

Actually James Cameron liked it.

He did an interview with BBC1. Can't find the original transcript though.

"James Cameron recently talked with [the UK TV channel] BBC1 and revealed he's very happy with how Terminator 3 ended up: "In one word : Great. There was a small part of me that hoped it wasn't good - but another part of me hope'd it succeeded. And it did. And I'm so glad it did. Jonathon's made a great movie. Arnold's in great form. I really like what he's done with it". If he had done it, would he have handled it differently: "Yes. That's only natural. I mightn't have structrued it the same, nor may I have ended it the same way - but coming in where he has, such a hard thing to do, and I give Jonathan points for it".

This isn't a man whose going to whitewash his opinion either, take for example his reaction to "Alien 3" - "Hated it. Simple as that. I hated what they did.... I couldn't stand Alien 3 - how they could just go in there and kill off all these great characters we introduced in aliens, and the correlation between mother and daughter. It stunk, but hopefully I'll get a chance to rectify all that". You mean the talk about him being tied to "Alien 5" is true? "To an extent. yes. We're looking at doing another one. Something similiar to what we did with Aliens. A bunch of great characters, and of course Sigourney. I've even discussed the possibility of putting him [Arnold Schwarzenegger] into the Alien movie"."

Man, he isn't giving it props, just saying it doesn't suck outright. He said the ending sucked as well :p

It's like saying "awww, bless, not bad for a first try"

Well I must say it was quite an enjoyable movie, not for the plot (god knows my head needs a rest after watching the matrix a couple of times...), but for the non-stop action.

Though I do agree that the TX was a bit of a disappointment, why stick an exoskeleton under the liquid stuff in the first place... t-1000 was a much scarier adversary.

With the ending, I dont think it really 'sucked' as people have put it, because bloody oath I wanna see a huge robot war, not some scrawny kid blow up some pc's :p

Well we didn't see either, no blowing up a "system core" (because there wasn't one, I know), no massive robot war. Just "oh, it happened anyway. **** happens"

No no what I meant Dazzla was that i'd much rather see another terminator and see them have a huge war, rather than an alternate ending (ie. john connor blowing up skynet ), because then it would just be the same old story as t2 and as arnie told us in the movie "judgement day is innevitable".
