Call of Duty: Black Ops announced

I don't think it looks bad at all, granted those are video stills and look a bit muddy, some of the images look great! MW2 looked fantastic.

I don't think you were playing the same game as us.

I felt Treyarch did a great job with waw's multiplayer.

I'll be purchasing it, although it might be the last COD I buy with the way things are going.

+1

There support for the game is 10 times better then IW's support.

I don't know what games you're playing... at least on my xbox COD's always looked great, what ever you think about the art style it, technically, looks pretty sharp. great draw distance for big vistas, clean detailed textures, gun models look especially nice in MW2.

That looks like the PC version and the textures are almost Half Life 2 era.

Quite. If we're comparing PC shots: <Insert screenshot of Crysis: Warhead here>.

Or a multi-plat engine - go go gadget archives:

Just saying it's nice is all.

You said MW2 looks fantastic. It is many things. A great looker isn't one of them. :)

Agreed, unfortunately the collapse of IW and the actions of Activision might reflect poorly on the success of Treyarch's game though.

because we all know the first screen shots of a game are an accurate judgment of what the final product is going to look like.

Well Audioboxer was commenting on the Modern Warfare 2 screen shot, so umm, it isn't the first screen shot of the game? :p

Hm, if Treyarch can make it good, and work well. Then it should turn out ok. I skipped WaW but it seems like it could be good. Don't know yet.

regular edition £49.99, "hardened" £69.99 and super elite etc will be £130 imho, same as before.

maybe £54.99 for regular

I actually though WAW was better than MW2, a lot more fun and replay value was better. Would rather have zombies than spec ops.

Love how he was the same person to

comment about me not having proper grammar and such.

*fail*.

/offtopic.

We can't pass any judgement till

more trailers come out with hopefully in game graphics. But I have faith it's gonna such and MoH will take it's cornw this year for an awesome fps.

Call of Duty: Assasin's Creed III?

Going to wait until the game comes out for full judgement, but slightly concerned as to how they're going to pull this off without looking gimmicky.

I thought MW2 was a pretty good looking game...well atleast some parts of the SP were epic like the level where the white house and washington is totally a ghost town.

That's more atmosphere than anything else though. :)

There were some in-game graphics in the shots, or at least looked like it.

He shared his opinion of the previous game while commenting on this one, nothing off topic or trolling, just a simple opinion, if anything your comment is worse. :p

Ever since Modern Warfare, every Call of Duty game has been a general copy of the last game, in how the game works. We've already been through the MW to WaW 'similarities' ordeal

and now we have the EXACT same scenario on our hands, yet we have to pretend this game is going to be new and ground breaking? We know how multiplayer is going to pan out,

in broad strokes. We know exactly what kind of graphics to expect and what kind of gameplay to expect.

We don't know the story and what their 'bonus' mode is going to be, that's about it.

Sad we have to put up this "Act surprised" face.
