Employee Scheduling

Question

OK here is what I'm looking for. I'm looking for employee scheduling software where i can assign a specific thing to someone.

I work in a bank. 3 of us have first half of combinations and the other 3 have the second half.

Now i need at least on first half and one second half to open the bank. Don't necessarily need that to happen with closing the branch, but would like at least the first and second half there as long as possible.

So my question is, Does anyone know of any kind of software. Preferably FREE that could handle something like this?

I dread doing my scheduling every month and this really could help a lot.

I would suggest you look into Hakuna Scheduling Software.

With Hakuna, you would great at least two positions, 1 for the first half and 1 for the second half. Each affected employee would be assigned the appropriate position.

Then when you elect to generate your schedule, the you can indicate you need at least 1 first half and 1 second half to open the bank. Then Hakuna's scheduling program will ensure you have at least one of each of those employees assigned to the shift.

The software is not free, but they do offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so you could try it, if it works as I described then great, the cost is negligible (currently $29.99/month). If it does not work you can get your money back.

Hey Drakars,

If you have some time, Fendza employee scheduling software, is launching on June 15th. The homepage is up and full of info, I suggest checking it out and see if you would like it. It can take care of your dual 1/2 shift problem. Shoot me an email james (@) fendza.com, and I'll sign you up for a free beta account, that way you can bypass paying once it launches.

Thanks,

James F.

My wife is a branch manager for a local bank. I know what you need.

Excel, you should have it as a standard app that the bank provides to you.

The next part is the tough part, know your tellers and what they have/don't have access to. Unless you are in a large branch consisting of 10+ drive ups and 20+ (this would be a 30+ teller rotation at any given time as well as 3 managers for overrides). Inside windows all occupied at the same time, I think you are fine with Excel.

You could always look up templates on google for excel, or mark down each employee with a 1 or 2 next to their name so you know who has what, or you can hide that field so that when you print it out it doesn't show. So many different ways to do it with what you have available to you.

Hey,

i think i dint understood your requirement appropriately but from the look of it i can suggest you a scheduling software that will easily allow you to schedule and plan your resources. The software is eResource scheduler by ENBRAUN. This software has all those features and functionalities which are required in a scheduling software such as timesheets, drag & drop scheduling, resources utilization report, resource forecasting report.
