soniqstylz
http://sarcasticgamer.com/wp/index.php/page/2 Here is a heads-up for the fiscally conscious gamers out there, which, at this point, could probably describe most of us. Hobbyist gaming is a rather expensive mistress, after all. Starting tomorrow (May 4) and running through May 10, Kmart, which has somehow managed to stay afloat, will offer some big-name titles for primo prices. The list is as follows:Nier: $44.99 Final Fantasy XIII: $29.99 Bayonetta: $29.99 Aliens vs. Predator: $29.99 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: $29.99 Darksiders: $29.99 Metro 2033: $29.99 (360 only) The special prices are for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, save for Metro 2003, as denoted above. Don?t live near a brick-and-mortar Kmart retailer? No sweat. You?re covered too. These prices will also apply to the company?s website, as long as said products are in stock. Final Fantasy XIII and Modern Warfare 2 should be hot sellers, so check out Kmart.com bright and early tomorrow when the deals should go live. I?m planning to snatch a Blu-ray copy of Platinum Games? ludicrous action game, Bayonetta. It has garnered exceptional critical ratings, including an enthusiastic recommendation from PacManPolarBear. The PS3 version was, at launch, said to be saddled with substantial load times and significant framerate issues, with many critics recommending the 360 SKU. However, thanks to a handy little patch, the major issues seem to have been ironed out. Per PacMan: The recent patch for Bayonetta addressed all of the major issues. As long as you have the room to install the game on your PS3, the game is on par with the 360 version and definitely worth the purchase. If you can nab yourself a copy for just $29.99 ? well that is a great deal. Bayonetta is a fantastic game.Stay frosty! Yes, he actually included that last bit in his message. You gotta love PacMan. He?s one hell of a chap; always willing to offer advice and information. I can personally endorse Vigil Games? Darksiders, which is a great game. For a detailed account, check out Yamster?s SG review. For those interested in Aliens vs. Predator, here is PacMan?s review. As always, keep a sharp eye to any retail competitors that might price-match.

dead.cell
Pity we can't get such good deals in the UK. Didn't people in the UK get MW2 for $30 at release? At least, that's what I remember hearing from some members. This is the first time I've seen any deal on MW2 in the US.
